Some weird random stuff...

I was really bored so I just wrote some stuff, blah, and whatever:

-Simon COWell wears very tight shirts. Eww. Disturbing.

-Youtube is very influential.

-Most diseases from food seem to always come from Mexico and China.

-It's annoying when people say "I want to eat water." WTF. Annoying and stupid.

-WTF in this case, stands for "Why they fart."

-I don't know why.

-If I had a gun with 4 bullets and a knife, and I was in a room with our "totally awesome" former prez George W. Bush, the JoBros, the dude (whoever it is) who made HSM (Horrible Suckish  Musical) and Miley Cyrus, I would push the first 3 out of a window, then shoot Miley Cyrus in all 4 limbs, then cut her head off.

Anyways, I've been dead on Blogger for a looooonngg time. I last posted like what, 2 months ago. Wow. I'm really lazy, and there's not really anything to post, but oh well.

School's almost over, just about 28 days left. I really like my school a lot. My school is awesome!

An interestingly boring weekend

This is what happened in winter break:

-OA got a PSP.
-he brought Naruto Ultimate Heroes 2 as his first game.
-I slept from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
-Finally, I managed to get KN to like pie. He likes cherry pie, which is weird because all the things he likes start with C.
-OA felt Zeeshan's nose. I was to disgusted to touch it. OA said it felt like pure metal. Zeeshan said something very weird in that stupid voice of his. I called Zeeshan a lowlife. He said something very weird again.
-I made 4 guys cry because of some weird reason. OA knows.
-I had severe pie withdrawal symptoms.
-I am getting A FAKE DEATH NOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-My favorite character in naruto isn't Neji anymore. It's Gaara. If you want to know why the guys are my favorite characters in animes, it's because the girls are all stupid and clueless.

A strange conversation between me and KN

For those of you who don't know who KN is, he's my little brother. He might go to preschool next year by the way. Anyways, today, he got up and said to me:

"Assalamu alaikum. Go away."
Me: Laugh

KN:huh?

Me:huh?

KN:Mommy!!! Carry me!!

Me:You probably don't understand what I'm saying, but I'm your sister who is completely bored.

KN:DUH!!!!!

Me: surprised

Later on, I managed to pacify him, and he pointed his finger to a brocolli-spinach type of thing on my mouth in return. Now there is thunder and KN is jumping up and down and saying....ok, those of you who know KN would know this is scary.....

.........He said "COOKKEE!!!!!!!!! COKE!!!! ME WANT COOKIE!!!!!!!!!!!"

Yes, and right now he's throwing a tantrum because my mom gave him Sprite instead. Oh! Right now he calmed down, so he's playing with a teddy bear and pretending it's his baby. KN is obsessed with three things: Coke, cookies, and chocolate.

The hail is really loud right now. We have a hailstorm here. I just moved to California 2 years ago, and there was no snow. I came from Canada, so I'm really happy. The warm weather isn't bad, though.

UR and HR are going to London. At least that's what HR told OA. Then they hugged for 15 minures. I know. Weird. Then Abdul Wahab was all whispering "San Fransisco" and "Palm Springs" and "Yes on 8" in my ear. I kicked him.

Yeah, I'm really bored now so bye bye!!!! I'm going to go prepare for the Caltrans Slow For the Cone Zone Poster Contest. The Grand prize winner gets a $200 savings bond.

It's been a looooong time since I posted

sooo....i'm going to say what happened.

today our parents were supposed to "see" our science fair projects. they weren't. they were talking to each other. that reminds me of muffins-with-mom and donuts-with-dad. the parents just talk to each other instead. there was a freaky bunny on UR's desk. AA drw him on his desk, and foofoo told him not to.

*note: i'll call u foofoo instead of insanewriter. it is more familiar and i am currently typing with one hand and eating daal and rice with the other. foofoo is shorter and easier to type.

also, a very annoying thing happened, and those of you who know and how I look like would understand. One of my relatives in San Fransisco said I looked like Deepika Padukone!! Grrrr... Comparing me with a stupid, idiot Hindi actress. Ewww, nasty. I am still aggravated by that.

This is probably the longest post i've done. Foofoo started her blog only in September but already has a whopping 100 something posts!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I am going to start a diary with no locks and no invisible ink. I'll even write some stuff from it on the blog. Why? ZBecause I don't have anything private. Also i'll annoy SG by saying "Read my Diary!!! Totally Public!!!!!!!!!!! DFor Free!!11

...turned out to be pointless.

Okay, today at recess, guess what, I wasn't bored anymore!! I don't know why, maybe because it was old today. It felt so good to be normal after 4 weeks of boredrom.

But just as I was un-bored, I am now bored again. So, yeah. I'm bored.

It's Wolf's Rain. And yes, I don't think you'll understand it unless you watch it. I'm done watching Deathnote by the way! (imitates L's sitting position because it's so weird) It's so sad, and I feel really sorry for Light's family. At least Light got what he deserved.

It's about a post-acolyptic world in the future, and the world is about to end, and there will be paradise, but only wolves can go to it. Ok, it sounds stupid the way I'm describing it, but you'll just have to watch/read it.A serious must read/see for the manga/anime fan. Oh, and here's my favorite character from wolf's rain:

BORED!!!!!!!!!!

Wikipedia: Boredom is an emotional state experienced during periods of lack of activities or when individuals are uninterested in the activities surrounding them.The first record of the word boredom is in the novel Bleak House by Charles Dickens, written in 1852,[1] in which it appears six times, although the expression to be a bore had been used in the sense of "to be tiresome or dull" since 1768.[2]

Psychology
Boredom has been defined by C. D. Fisher in terms of its central psychological processes: “an unpleasant, transient affective state in which the individual feels a pervasive lack of interest in and difficulty concentrating on the current activity.”[3] M. R. Leary and others define boredom similarly, and somewhat more succinctly, as “an affective experience associated with cognitive attentional processes.”[4] These definitions make it clear that boredom arises not from a lack of things to do but from the inability to latch onto any specific activity. Nothing engages us, despite an often profound desire for engagement.
There are three types of boredom, all of which involve problems of engagement of attention. These include times when we are prevented from engaging in something, when we are forced to engage in some unwanted activity, or when we are simply unable, for no apparent reason, to maintain engagement in any activity or spectacle.[5] Boredom proneness is a tendency to experience boredom of all types. This is typically assessed by the Boredom Proneness Scale.[6] Consistent with the definition provided above, recent research has found that boredom proneness is clearly and consistently associated with failures of attention.[7] Boredom and boredom proneness are both theoretically and empirically linked to depression and depressive symptoms.[8][9][10] Nonetheless, boredom proneness has been found to be as strongly correlated with attentional lapses as with depression.[11] Although boredom is often viewed as a trivial and mild irritant, proneness to boredom has been linked to a very diverse range of possible psychological, physical, educational, and social problems.

Philosophy
Boredom is a condition characterized by perception of one's environment as dull, tedious, and lacking in stimulation. This can result from leisure and a lack of aesthetic interests. Labor, however, and even art may be alienated and passive, or immersed in tedium (see Marx's theory of alienation). There is an inherent anxiety in boredom; people will expend considerable effort to prevent or remedy it, yet in many circumstances, it is accepted as suffering to be endured. Common passive ways to escape boredom are to sleep or to think creative thoughts (daydream). Typical active solutions consist in an intentional activity of some sort, often something new, as familiarity and repetition lead to the tedious.
Boredom also plays a role in existentialist thought. In contexts where one is confined, spatially or otherwise, boredom may be met with various religious activities, not because religion would want to associate itself with tedium, but rather, partly because boredom may be taken as the essential human condition, to which God, wisdom, or morality are the ultimate answers. Boredom is in fact taken in this sense by virtually all existentialist philosophers as well as by Schopenhauer. Heidegger wrote about boredom in two texts available in English, in the 1929/30 semester lecture course The Fundamental Concepts of Metaphysics, and again in the essay What is Metaphysics? published in the same year. In the lecture, Heidegger included about 100 pages on boredom, probably the most extensive philosophical treatment ever of the subject. He focused on waiting at train stations in particular as a major context of boredom.[12] In Kierkegaard's remark in Either/Or, that "patience cannot be depicted" visually, there is a sense that any immediate moment of life may be fundamentally tedious.
Without stimulus or focus, the individual is confronted with nothingness, the meaninglessness of existence, and experiences existential anxiety. Heidegger states this idea nicely: "Profound boredom, drifting here and there in the abysses of our existence like a muffling fog, removes all things and men and oneself along with it into a remarkable indifference. This boredom reveals being as a whole."[13] Arthur Schopenhauer used the existence of boredom in an attempt to prove the vanity of human existence, stating, "...for if life, in the desire for which our essence and existence consists, possessed in itself a positive value and real content, there would be no such thing as boredom: mere existence would fulfil and satisfy us."[14]
Erich Fromm and other similar thinkers of critical theory speak of bourgeois society in terms similar to boredom, and Fromm mentions sex and the automobile as fundamental outlets of postmodern boredom. Above and beyond taste and character, the universal case of boredom consists in any instance of waiting, as Heidegger noted, such as in line, for someone else to arrive or finish a task, or while one is travelling. Boredom, however, may also increase as travel becomes more convenient, as the vehicle may become more like the windowless monad in Leibniz's monadology. The automobile requires fast reflexes, making its operator busy and hence, perhaps for other reasons as well, making the ride more tedious despite being over sooner.

Causes and effects
Although it has not been widely studied, research on boredom suggests that boredom is a major factor impacting diverse areas of a person's life. People ranked low on a boredom-proneness scale were found to have better performance in a wide variety of aspects of their lives, including career, education, and autonomy.[15] Boredom can be a symptom of clinical depression. Boredom can be a form of learned helplessness, a phenomenon closely related to depression. Some philosophies of parenting propose that if children are raised in an environment devoid of stimuli, and are not allowed or encouraged to interact with their environment, they will fail to develop the mental capacities to do so.

In a learning environment, a common cause of boredom is lack of understanding; for instance, if one is not following or connecting to the material in a class or lecture, it will usually seem boring. However, the opposite can also be true; something that is too easily understood, simple or transparent, can also be boring. Boredom is often inversely related to learning, and in school it may be a sign that a student is not challenged enough, or too challenged. An activity that is predictable to the students is likely to bore them.[16]
Boredom has been studied as being related to drug abuse among teens.[17] Boredom has been proposed as a cause of pathological gambling behavior. A study found results consistent with the hypothesis that pathological gamblers seek stimulation to avoid states of boredom and depression.[18]

Popular culture and the arts
In Chapter 18 of the novel The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde (1854–1900) it is written; "The only horrible thing in the world is ennui, Dorian. That is the one sin for which there is no forgiveness." John Sebastian, Iggy Pop, the Deftones, Buzzcocks, and Blink-182 have all written songs with boredom mentioned in the title. Other songs about boredom and activities people turn to when bored include Green Day's song "Longview", System of a Down's "Lonely Day", and Bloodhound Gang's "Mope". Douglas Adams depicted a robot named Marvin the Paranoid Android whose boredom appeared to be the defining trait of his existence in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

I'm obsessed with Deathnote

For those of you that don't read Shonen Jump, or doesn't read the Deathnote manga/novel, or watch the anime, it's freaking awesome!!!!! I'm done with the manga (and they don't have much volumes) and now I'm on episode 15 on the anime (I think there's 37, it's really short)

My favourite character is L (dude on the left of the main character, Light Yagami).
